Hiver iroquois

Hiver iroquois

When Juillard and Cothias allowed the heroine of “Plume au vent” to cross the ocean and savour the vast expanses of the American back-country, Champaka decided to publish one of the images in a large panoramic format. The colour treatment conveys a wintry dawn in the panoramic vistas of Quebec. A unique sense of line and a delicate approach to colour are once again at the heart of the artist’s vision. “Hiver iroquois” is incontestable proof, if ever it were needed, that André Juillard is one of the greats of illustration.
