The portfolio

In 2002, Champaka finally had the pleasure of paying tribute to Raymond Macherot, one of the great figures of the “animal” genre of bande dessinée and the figure held by many to be Europe’s Walt Disney. The “Chlorophylle” portfolio presents 10 of the most cherished scenes of the mythic series. The selection was chosen in collaboration with Olivier Saive, the artist who breathed new life into “Chaminou” in the early ´nineties.
