La Seine rouge
This represents the first collaboration between Yslaire and Champaka, the first publisher to commission a screen-print at a time when only a mere twenty plates from “Sambre” had appeared in “Circus.” Yslaire and Balac had foreseen, no doubt, other developments in the saga, because this scene has never appeared in the albums that came afterwards.
