La robe rouge
In 2002, in a brief respite from working on the plates for the fifth “Sambre” album, Yslaire drew a simple, freehand sketch that vibrates with emotion. From this fragment he would develop a drawing that would quickly sell out. Julie, the beloved of the “Sambre” series, is immortalised in this graphic tribute. One could almost imagine her meeting Corto Maltese in “Les Celtiques.”
