Au cœur de la tempête

When, in 2003, we saw the first outline sketch of “Au coeur de la tempête”, both author and the editor knew that, if the drawing’s promise were realized, it would be one of Yslaire’s most accomplished drawings. Ever the perfectionist, the artist worked attentively around that early draft. It was to be a long wait, but the drawing was completed in 2004. That print heralded the sixth “Sambre” volume. It shows Julie facing her destiny once again, her life poised to take a new direction…
