It condenses into one image many of the elements that give the series its great appeal: dialogues à la Audiard; memorable characters, such as the comic duo of Libellule-Crouton; Tillieux’s flair for drawing cars… all are brought together in a wonderfully “retro” ambience (publication of this episode began in September 1956).
