La piscine
Loustal has a clear recollection of the way this image took form. “It’s based on a villa on the island of Réunion that belonged to a friend of mine. I added a Californian touch to the scene and I also gave myself free rein to pay a little homage to David Hockney in the rendering of the water in the swimming pool.”
