At the outset, this composition was created for a book about cats. When he was in search of an original idea, Loustal remembered “The Incredible Shrinking Man” (Jack Arnold – 1957), a film he had loved as a child. For the screen-print, Loustal adapted the colour treatment in order to take best advantage of the graphic force of screen-print inks.
