Le nez rouge

One of André Franquin’s very best drawings (previously issued as an offset print on high-quality paper) is now issued as a screenprint. This virtuoso performance of graphic art brings together Franquin’s famous characters, and it is one of his favourite drawings. The use of colour has been carefully enhanced to exploit fully the particular features of this print. Originally entitled “Gaston, le marsupilami et les autres”, the print now carries the title “Le nez rouge.” Franquin is particularly fond of the note of red that animates the scene and gives it an attractive compositional unity.
