Condemned to death for a murder that he didn’t commit, Simon Ovronnaz, friend of Largo Winch, is transferred to the fortress of Makiling, in Burma. When Largo arrives in the Burmese capital, accompanied by Kadjang, Simon has no more than sixteen hours left to live. Should they attack the fortress? That would be an impossible mission. Largo’s only plan is audacious and risky, but he doesn’t have any choice.
