Wintertime

“Wintertime” launches the “Quatre saisons” series of screen-prints. The artist, creator of “Rendez-vous de Sevenoaks”, tells us about it at length: “These four images allow us to live in rhythm with the seasons. Each image can stand alone, but the collection as a whole gives each image more impact. They will all share common characteristics. The central element is a couple, and the couple will occupy the same amount of space relative to the overall image. The couple will convey a sense of being “alone together.” A “retro” automobile will emphasise the seasonal aspect. For “Wintertime”, a station-wagon is the ideal choice for this road-trip in New England.” Excerpt from “ Champaka News n°3” – December 1993
