Paris, Barbès

Here is the fourth print that Champaka dedicates to the city of Paris. The first, by Loustal, revealed a small, verdant garden in the heart of the city, where a sun-worshipping beauty luxuriated in the sunlight. Avril’s print followed, featuring a local scene from the Sentier quarter, close to the Bonne-Nouvelle métro. Götting then enticed us to appreciate the rain-washed street-scene of the boulevard Haussmann. Now comes the turn of Dupuy and Berberian: to convey the colour and bustle of one of Paris’s busiest working-class areas, they naturally chose the boulevard Barbès.
