Jonathan à Lhassa

Cosey has created for Champaka the first screenprint featuring Jonathan. Contrary to expectations, the mountain fastnesses of the Tibetan landscape of popular legend are not featured, but rather the bustling city of Lhassa under the Chinese. The print, which is in an original format, features Jonathan and Colonel Lan, one of the two female characters found in “Celui qui mène les fleuves à la mer” in a setting which is bathed in light and atmosphere.
