“Les Années Métal” brings together within two covers. The various stories that make up the collection are all (with one exception) drawn from unpublished albums. The highlights of this collection are “Captivant” (the unpublished plates!), “Mat 49” (an eventful pastiche of “Histoires de l’Oncle Paul), “La vie exemplaire de Jijé”, “Les Fiches Spirou”, “Bill Baxter”, “Le retour du Major” (or how Chaland re-works Moebius’s character) and “Le plus grand groom du monde” (the epic version of the Journal de Spirou).
