1998 saw the publication of the fourth volume of “Pin Up” (with a scenario by Yann). Bolstered by its long collaboration with Philipper Berthet, Champaka felt compelled to publish a new screen-print featuring Dotty, his curvaceous paper doll. With “Souvenirs”, Berthet confirms his artistic mastery of the female form in bande dessinée. This pleasing composition is further enhanced by a refined, delicate approach to colour.
