La roulette
The eighth instalment of “Pin Up” was published by Éditions Dargaud in August of 2002. Champaka played its part by publishing, as a sumptuous screen-print, the illustration that was destined to grace the cover of “Gig Bunny.” Philippe Berthet’s drawings never cease to amaze. Dotty is pursued through the smoke-filled casinos of Las Vegas, which provide the striking visual backdrop of this composition. What mortal wouldn’t risk his fortune on the roulette wheel for one lingering look from that green-eyed beauty?
