L'œil du chasseur

This portfolio accompanied the release of “L’oeil du chasseur” a markedly graphic album by Philippe Berthet (with a scenario by Foerster). “Apart from the showing some sketches” recalls the artist of “Pin Up”, the idea was to create some colour inserts that would sum up the most dramatic moments of the story, in the same manner as the illustrations that punctuated the story in the black-and-white editions of “Tintin.” I seized the opportunity to approach the image as an end in itself, while at the same time bringing forth the various emotions that the story evokes.”
