“On the cover of this portfolio” explains Ted Benoit, “I drew a standing leather-bound photo-frame holding a photo of Olrik. The original frame, which stands on the counter in my studio, holds a photo of Frank Anders, the hero of another portfolio of mine. It’s also in black and white, as are the photos of Blake, Mortimer, Kendall and the other characters of the series that are found inside. That’s the proper use of this portfolio: frame all the images and place them, among the photos of your parents, friends and idols, on your wall of memories.”
