L'étrange rendez-vous

L'étrange rendez-vous

The 1996 revival of “Blake and Mortimer” by Ted Benoit and Jean Van Hamme was a resounding triumph. The work of a winning team will always excite curiosity and, in this instance, the sceptics were to be disappointed. “L’étrange rendez-vous” proved to be an even greater success. Ted Benoit, the creator of “Ray Banana”, explores the USA without falling for the clichéd images of New York and California. He explores the American wilderness that holds a particular fascination for him. Éditions Champaka is spoiled for choice and indulges itself in publishing both a portfolio and screen-print. The portfolio entitled “L’étrange rendez-vous” features the eight best images from the album.
